![]() If you go with the streamer mode reset, you will lose that achievement as it didn’t save the fact you did it. If you get the combo and the achievement then quit to the hideout, you’ll keep that achievement and still get to reset your no damage attempt. However, while this method is substantially quicker, it does come with a downside: it DOES NOT save your other achievements.Įxample of what I mean: if you’re going for both achievements for Rekka, you’ll have to get a 50 hit combo and beat her without taking damage. (Other settings may also do this but this was the one I found). Turning streamer mode on or off is much much faster as you just quickly navigate the pause menu and you’re right back at the checkpoint. Returning to the hideout is the one most people know and said people also complain about how long it can take since you have to quit out, load, get on the couch, navigate to the continue, load, skip cutscenes, then start again… it’s tedious, yes, but it does have one major upside to the other method that we’ll get to. Since the game doesn’t actually have a reload checkpoint feature, I’ve found two main ways to do this: returning to the hideout and turning Streamer Mode on or off. The first thing to note is that reloading a checkpoint DOES NOT count as a continue! For example, if you’re trying to do a no damage run for a boss, if you take damage then reload the checkpoint it does not save the fact you took damage and you can go on to get the achievement! Since the fights mostly have checkpoints after certain transitions, that means you can take the fight chunk by chunk and just keep reloading the checkpoints whenever you get hit. I did a little experimenting with Hi-Fi Rush’s checkpoint system and discovered a few things that may help save those going for achievements A LOT of time.
